Gesher School is a unique Ofsted Outstanding all-through Jewish special school for children aged 4 to 16 years.  We provide a happy and safe learning environment for children and young people who learn differently and are differently able. We welcome children of all different faiths and cultural backgrounds and ensure that every child receives an education that is accessible to them.

We differ from lots of other schools in that we take a holistic approach to supporting the children we work with; we are fortunate enough to have an on-site therapy team working full-time alongside our educational staff, as well as lots of specialist resources designed to support the needs of the cohort that attend Gesher.  We place equal value on the whole person.   Deep knowledge, character, and what our students can make and do is as important as what they know, including their social, sensory, and emotional needs.

As a small community, relational learning sits at the heart of all that we do, and we are privileged to work individually with each of our children and support our families with any specific needs.  Similarly, we have witnessed first-hand how each of our children has thrived within this environment, whether it be making their first friend, learning to regulate their emotions independently, working in a group environment alongside their peers, or simply coming to school and going home happy. Gesher takes great pride in ensuring the wellbeing of the children and their development is supported professionally and nurtured whilst also constantly evolving to ensure we are at the forefront of SEN education.
