OLIVIA SIMMONS
Hello, I’m Miss Liv! I’m excited to be starting my sixth year as an Occupational Therapist at Gesher. I began my OT journey in New Zealand, working across mental health and school settings, where I discovered my passion for helping children thrive through meaningful, hands-on activities. I love using movement and sensory-based activities to get children active, having fun, and building confidence in understanding their own sensory needs. I’m especially passionate about making PE and physical activity enjoyable and inclusive, so every child feels motivated and able to take part. As a certified SOS Approach to Feeding Therapist, I also support children in exploring new foods by creating playful, positive experiences with food that lead to success and confidence. This year at Gesher, I’m looking forward to creating and delivering interventions that spark students’ interests and working closely with parents, teachers, and teaching assistants to help our students flourish and grow in their OT skills.
