It was wonderful reuniting with our students last week after the summer break, and hearing all about the trips and adventures they enjoyed along the way.

This term we’re delighted to welcome seven new students and seven new staff members to the Gesher community, all settling in well to new classes and new faces.

We’re also incredibly proud of our students’ summer exam results: both GCSE candidates passed English and Maths, six students achieved passes in their Functional Skills qualifications, and every student entered for Entry Level Maths, English and Science achieved a pass or Entry Level 2. It’s also been lovely hearing how last year’s graduating class are settling into their post-16 destinations.

To mark Rosh Hashanah, our Primary and KS3 students enjoyed a hands-on bee-keeping workshop — meeting real bees, searching for the Queen, and tasting fresh honey.
